Savannah's Surgery Fundraiser

On February 29, 2024, Neshama Animal Rescue saved Savannah from the Granville County Animal Shelter because someone very caring stepped up to foster her. This sweet girl had been hit by a car and suffered multiple fractures of her leg. We swiftly got her on pain medicine and crate rest, and evaluated her at our partner clinic, Harmony Animal Rescue Clinic on Monday, March 4. Along with our veterinary partners, it was decided that her best path to recovery would involve plate surgery, estimated to cost between $3,300-$3,800.

Savannah's surgery is scheduled for Friday, March 8. We desperately need to raise the funds to cover the cost of the surgery and follow-up care.

Please donate as much as you are able, and share with friends and family. We will provide updates here on how she is doing.

March 9, 2024 Update

Savannah's surgery yesterday was a great success. Her foster mom picked her up and she is back home resting comfortably on a lot of pain medicine.

She has metal structure in the leg for stabilizing the broken bone, right above her wrist, secured with 7 screws.  In about two weeks she will go back for a re-check to see how everything is healing. The total cost of her surgery yesterday came to $3,170.12. Please consider a donation to help us pay for this expensive but worthy girl!
